Brewer's Notes: The base of this beer is a sour mashed brown ale, a process that involves intentionally spiking the beer with lactobacillus, acidifying the end product considerably. We then aged the beer on red raspberries which, when paired with the malty characteristics of chocolate malt, gives us the distinct finish of freshly baked raspberry pie.
