IPA and Saison and Events – Oh My!
By Mystery Brewing. Filed in news |One of the greatest things about being a seasonal-only brewery is that we get to post things like this often.
Join us as we celebrate the release of two new beers this week!
Fantine, our Red Belgian IPA. This copper-colored beer is a blend of three different styles: Roasted Barley and Carmel Munich malt give it its color and light biscuity, malty body, bitterness are derived from German and French hops, and its bright citrusy bite is provided by a generous dosing of Summit hops. Fermented with Belgian Abbey yeast. Join us at the Wooden Nickel Pub in Hillsborough on Thursday to try it for the first time!
Waggledance, a Belgian-style Farmhouse Ale. Brewed in conjunction with Market in Raleigh, this beer is made with locally grown barley, locally harvested le
mon balm, and local honey for a unique farm-to-glass beer. Light and spritzy with notes of lemon and a late palate full of complex floral honey; it is incredibly dry and goes perfectly with a summer afternoon or a rich, delicious dinner. Available only at Market in Raleigh, as of May 4th.
Don’t worry, though – we still have plenty of our spring beers around and they will be for a little while, yet. Get ‘em now before they’re gone.
Join us at Hillsborough Hog Day!
Finally, if you like beer and BBQ, you should join us in Hillsborough on May 18 and 19 for Hillsborough Hog Day. We’ll be there for the entire festival with four of our brews including our own special kolsch-style beer just for Hog Day.
