Announcing our first official team member: Chris Shields
By Mystery Brewing. Filed in brewery, homebrewers, industry, news, startup |Tags: chris, stories
Today is a pretty awesome day at Mystery. We’re slowly trundling toward opening and we can finally, officially, for true and for real, be called a “we” since today, Chris Shields officially joins the team at Mystery.
True story: I met Chris via Twitter. I was heading out to pint night at Tyler’s Taproom back when Mystery was just a twinkle in my eye, and I got a tweet saying something like, “Hey, I’ll be there too – want to grab a beer?” To say that we got along might be somewhat of an understatement.
What Chris brings to Mystery isn’t just a track record of good homebrew, a demonstrated ability to learn and adapt, and a solid science background. It’s an upbeat attitude, a passion for great beer, a solid work ethic, and a belief in Mystery Brewing Company.
Chris joins Mystery with the title “Assistant Brewmaster” but in reality, he’ll be the left hand of Mystery and helping me everywhere he possible can.
(Or he damned well better, I say!)
It’s a great pleasure to welcome him to the team. If you see him out and about, raise a glass with him and for him in congratulations.
À votre santé,
Erik
